We’ve known Jennifer for several years, and we told her that when she and her husband have their first baby, we call “dibs” on her photos. While we were partly joking, we hoped they would take us seriously! When we heard the good news, we were so excited for them! And we’re very happy that she DID take us seriously and hired us to take both her maternity and newborn photos!
We have clients who book us for maternity photos, and we have clients who book us for newborn photos, but we really love it when our clients book us for our combo sessions. Unlike Jennifer and Brandon, most of our clients do not know us prior to booking with us, so taking their maternity photos is a great way for our clients and ourselves to become acquainted and establish a good rapport. After a maternity session with us, our clients feel more comfortable and even more excited about having their newborn photos taken.
