The 2015 bluebonnet season is underway in Central Texas, and in Austin we're seeing some gorgeous stands of bluebonnets! We've already been out taking portraits among the sea of blue plumes and we are very excited to offer mini-sessions in the bluebonnets this year!

While I've blogged one or two images, I can't believe I never got around to blogging this gorgeous maternity session in its entirety several months ago! These were taken at a park and preserve in north Georgetown, a place we love to go frequently. Mommy was looking beautiful and we captured some really touching moments between the couple and with their son.
Last weekend, we had a Cedar Park family in our home to photograph their new baby girl. Mommy wanted only black and white images from her session, which is a change from our normal full-color sessions, but we're very pleased with the final images! She was such a sleepy, adorable little model!
In the short time that my wife has known Morgan, she has grown to admire her as a mommy, writer, friend and successful entrepreneur. She has a magnetic personality, a big heart and is such a gracious, genuine person. That's why we were thrilled with the opportunity to take her family photos and really love her choice to include pieces of Austin in her session. We started out on South Congress and moved north as more than a couple passersby paused to comment on the beautiful family. We eventually ended the session at Butler Park on Sahm Hill at sunset - a beautiful time to be there with the Austin skyline in the background.
