Here are a couple of recent silhouette portraits we took of Michelle's youngest sister, Lindsey (and her man, Brandan), who is due to have her baby boy in the next couple of weeks!  We're so excited to meet this little guy!

Towards the end of the session, we took both of these silhouettes.  Both of these images were underexposed in camera and the only thing we really did in post-processing was adjust levels, vibrancy and added the stars in the background.  I went with the dreamy night sky in the background for the couple's maternity silhouette, but wanted something with a little more drama and movement for Lindsey's solo shot.

The image of spinning trails of stars behind her, seemingly beginning (or converging?) at the womb, to me, expresses how interconnected life is, how the microcosm reflects the macrocosm, and how we ALL are nestled in a dynamic universe of love, spinning through space and time.

We're happy with how these images turned out!  What do you think?  Leave us a comment below and let us know!
